Boris Johnson... been a bit quiet lately

I'm one of those sad individuals who reads the Daily Telegraph. Anyway, having not heard from the bumbling former MP for Henley in some time, I found it oddly surreal, reading his column for the first time in quite a while.

So, to all fellow Brits on the Escapist, your views of our loveable Mayor of London (who has weighed in on the whole Libya debate as well).

Boris is great on Have I got News For You. I think he would be awesome as a childrens T.V. presenter. He's booksmart, but I don't think he's "streetsmart" in that he wouldn't understand anything about the poverty situation, or unemployment. My favourite Boris Johnson moment was his wonderful rugby tackle during the footy match.

As Mayor he's comparable to Red Ken, but Boris has the upside of being excellent comic relief and not even being able to pull off arrogance, despite his royal ancestry. His team is also much better than Ken's was - and I'll be voting him back in next year.
