I can't believe this thread opened with "Remember the day..."

I like bots, especially the God and Insane level type bots. Since they borderline cheat, they're good practice for when you fight other humans.

Unreal games had fun bots. I still break out UT2004 and have a couple of awsome rounds.

Timeplitter games and Counter Strike Scource are great games with fun bots.

Timesplitters + custome maze map + 3 other friends + virus = BEST. GAME. EVER!

Timesplitters? Hearing another human er....seeing the text of another human mentioning this game is amazing, that game is one of my favorite shooters of all time, nothing did what it did as well. By that I mean not taking itself seriously and allowing dinosaurs, gingerbread men, cavewomen, gangsters, robots into a frag fest.

You forgot ducks and calamari. Also bears and a tree.
And how dare you not mention the monkeys!

While I feel Robomonkey with the banana dispenser warrens mention I hated the monkeys in multiplayer, they ran mach 5 and were knee high, but could carry a chaingun and mow ya down haha. YOU sir forgot the hillbilly cactus that rode robo-legs! Let's not forget Corporal Hart my choice of character to use. Plasma Auto Rifle? Check, pew pew!

Because now bots are becoming extinct, the only bots on a game now are really only on single player, not "piss-about-and-have-fun" multiplayer. Bots won't cheat, hack or rage quit, they just try to kill you or do there objective, thats it. I'll meet a human once a months who wants to have fun rather then win, and bots are as close to that as possible
