so i go to albertsons and as soon as i get in my parking spot, some fat dude comes over and starts bitching at me saying that he was backing in and proceeds to insult me for a few minutes and the whole time im wishing for him to just throw a punch so i can rip his arm off and shove it down his throat so i can go inside and get my groceries, he ended up just storming off after taking a picture and trying to call the cops on me. i ask if i have anger issues because i had no problem coming up with the process of how to rip his arm off and/or breaking it from the elbow without any remorse of it, so am i nuts or what?

well, the fact that you *didn't* assault this moronic asshole who obviously *does* have anger (and entitlement) issues seems to indicate that, no, you do not have "anger issues."

*edit* i think the other guy also has problems with reality if he thinks stealing a parking spot is an issue for the cops.

You have self-control. While you may be an angry person, you don't have anger issues.

No, if you had anger issues you would have made this thread from jail because that guy would have been severely injured.

Anger issues means you beat the hell out of a fellow classmate for throwing a piece of paper at you...and I'm not sorry about it.

I think that was mild anger for a trip to a grocery store. I find the behavior of people in and around food stores is just appalling. I don't know what happens, they forget how to drive their monster cars (yeah, at least in the US it's mostly SUVs and worse at grocery stores). They stop their vehicles in the middle of the parking rows, waiting for someone to back out so they can be 2 steps closer to the doors and prevent the rest of us from going around them. By the time I make it to the door I'm usually so angry I could go nuts on everyone. Once inside it just gets worse.

Forget going postal. I think the new public-place horror is Going Grocial, err Foodal? Grocericidal! Yeah - you don't have anger management issues, you've just gone GROCERICIDAL (and I've gone with you)!!

No. You don't. You are angry, but you have no issues keeping that anger in you.

I personally have issues with anger, although i do my best to keep that under control no matter how hard i try i constantly find myself in situations when i am beating on someone or if i am playing video games, breaking things. Many things. Lets not forget the yelling either.

Be glad you do not have anger issues.

looks like you kept all your anger inside so no issues. But, I would have said, "What? I did you a favor by forcing you to get a parking spot further because it looks like you need the exercise." But I am an asshole though.

Being angry over a total shithead who's ready to call the cops over a parking space isn't an issue - It's a natural human reaction.
Visualising how to kill people? I think that might well be a human reaction as well. "Fight Or Flight" responce, maybe - You're making yourself a contingency plan, just in case the guy goes nuts and tries to punch you in the face. So you're waiting for Aggresion on his part before you do anything to him.
Bottom line - If there's anyone with an anger issue here, it's the other guy, not you.

The land lady i live with, when she talks she doesn't stop, nor does she care about if your dying, only that she speaks. She once spoke from 2am to 7am without stopping. During which time i wanted to vomit in her face to shut her up; my point is, people sometimes just drive you mad and you can't help it.

Well I don't have anger issues and I would have had the same though process. I was actually able to punch someone in self-defense once. It is just good sense to be ready for punches to start flying when someone is yelling at you. All you can do is remain calm so you have plausible deniability.

You have a lot of self control. Even if you DID want to rip his arms off, you didn't. That's all that really counts.

You should, however, see if you can think less violent thoughts when you do get mad. It hurts your blood pressure.

No anger issues but you have a very vindictive imagination.

Anger issues is like when I stabbed a guy through the hand with a pencil for humming too loud though I will admit he had been winding me up all day.

You have incredible self control.

If it were me, he would have eaten that camera.

Now, go play something with "deviant" violence, to get it out of your system.

No...I think you showed that you don't have anger issues when you refused to be the one who would throw the first punch. I don't see why you would question your ability maintain your emotions after just showcasing it.
