Thats a very poor argument for anything. Just cause something started somehwere, that doesnt mean the origin country should be responsible if it moved. Britain owned half the known world at one point, they should have to pay for everything their former countries did and do now that is viewed as wrong (hunh, guess that would mean us [the US] too).
Anyway, I dont hate BP, but I think they should lower their prices after what happened to the Coast line. And they could have reacted better. The Whole thing was just handled poorly, and that wouldnt really matter if it wasnt for the area it was. If that had been in Alaska, people wouldnt have cared as much (or it would have been forgotten sooner).
... Though Sarah Palin would probably bring it up all the time and it was Obama and the Liberal left's fault some how.
But Americans are Americans, and we're very complacent really. If we werent, everytime a President left office we'd have a Civil War.
