OT: Brad Pitt is a great actor. I have never actually played the game so I cannot really have an opinion on the game.
Was I the ONLY person who didn't take 'fingered' as a sex joke as soon as I saw the headline?... for a few seconds, at least.
OT, which many people seemed to not have done this thread...:
1: A little soon for an RDR movie. I'm not really complaining, but still.
2: I got no real problem with Pitt as John Marston. There are better choices, sure, but condiering how a lot of game movies don't even TRY to get an actor whose right for the job, this is a step in the right direction. Plus, Pitt's a good choice.
3: What I'm more concerned with is how they're going to fit a massive game like RDR into a single movie. Even if they went with just the story missions and cut out the tutorial, they'd need a trilogy at the least to...

Part 2: Mexican Revolution
Part 3: Blackwater and possibly forward (I only got up to the third mission borrowing a friend's copy...)
4: Part 3 is even assuming they don't screw up, like another movie that was to be broken down into parts *coughLastAirbendercough*

That's the same thing I'm thinking about the upcoming Kane and Lynch movie, and I think that's why the Max Payne movie was always destined to suck.

Lazlo (from Rockstar) stated that there is no movie in production nor is there any plans for a RDR movie (let alone one starring Brad Pitt). This is from 8/31 on the Ron and Fez show. Lazlo said he was getting heat for this false information when one of the hosts (Ron) said it on-air a couple days before, and the rags took it as truth.
