I've been playing it for a bit and there are one or two puzzle pieces that I am absolutely stumped on... the time manipulation is mind bending in a good way. It makes you think in a way no other game does.

But what I love about the game is its atmosphere, the music is absolutely gorgeous, especially on the intro screen and world one. The visuals have a dreamy quality thatg is at odds with the very normal looking protagonist, which is a nice contrast.

The final two pieces in world two are a fantastically done puzle, I've got the second last one but am still a bit stumped for the one above the door.

There have been times where I have felt a bit STOOPID playing this game, for example right now I am utterly stuck on 'Just out of reach' on world 4. anyone else get that feeling playing it?

Also, what did people think of it in general?

Recently i tried the Demo on Steam, i kinda liked it, but i still think that Portal is the best puzzle game on the surface of the planet earth. To be honest i never liked time manipulation, not here, not in Prince of Persia. Though i liked the atmosphere that the game provides, it really works well with the gameplay.

Yeah I like the subtlety and calm of the game, it was a good way to wind down after the hectic last mission in Red Faction.

Also the little story segments are lovely and it's nice to see some philosophical musings on the nature of relationships, a first in the medium as far as I know.

I agree with everything you said. It's a wonderful and unique game. The first time I played through it there were some puzzles which made me think "I'll never be able to solve that!", but eventually I got all the pieces. It was a good feeling. The final world is pretty awesome too.
Enjoy it, games like Braid make me sad that you can only play through a game for the first time once.

I dl'd the demo over XBL. Didn't like it too much. Just seemed like another side scroller with some puzzles to me. The puzzles were well done though, they really made you think to complete them. It's a good looking game too.
Just not my cup of tea I guess.
