I just finished Braid yesterday, and I must say, that game was absolutely brilliant. Especially the ending sequence. That was more intense then the strider battle in HL2 for me. But ultimately, I'm confused. Did he get the princess? Did it turn out that the princess hated him? Does she even exist? Help me out here.

Ya man, look it up. Did you hear anything about the whole Manhattan Project thing? I've read theories that Tim was a stalker and she was trying to get away from him, but the whole game is a metaphor for the creation of the atomic bomb.

Remember, in the begining, it said Tim did...something...it never says what...and this caused her to leave him. To this day, I have no idea what that something was, be when she 'left him' it seems she 'ran from him.' The whole time you were trying to get her back, he was really trying to 'get back at her.' No, in the end she got away. It turns out, Tim was the villian the entire time...when it looked like she was opening the path for you, after you got to her, what really happened played, and she was trying to block you from getting to her.

Dear Lord, I hate ambiguous endings. They end up reminding me of Halo 3... Usually they exist so that the player can create an ending that suits themself. Many theories cannot be disproven (at least until a sequel comes out), and I think that's the way the designers intended it to be.

The ending sucked...The game was still pretty damn good, though.

But the ending sucked...

Look it up. The quote in the game, "Now we are all bastards" or something like that, is from the Manhattan Project. Also if you do all the hidden stuff and get the different texts at the end (like the texts when you read the book are different) it seems pretty clear.
