This is a modern zombie RP set in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States. You will play as a very silly character who has a mental illness. Now, I know mental illnesses are no joke, but please try to make yours very funny. It can be made up (in fact, I encourage this). This RP will not have a very dark tone and is very unrealistic. Most encounters will be very over-scaled, but your guys aren't invincible. Your goal is to survive first and the story will be made clear to you, but its up to you guys how to play it.

I have an RP already going, but some players dropped out for school. So the RP will start en medias res. I'll find either one of 2 spots for you to start. Either with Ash and Quinn trying to escape from the hospital or with Arther in a cell.

I apologize to those of you from Las Vegas, but I don't know anything about Las Vegas except for the basics. Most of what I say will be made up, but what you can expect is any location I can think of. There will be casinos, malls, lakes, even Area 51, and I will try to keep the areas and enemies varied.

Like I said, this isn't very realistic, so there is no excuse for a boring character. There will be now Average Joe's in this RP. I will play as my own mental health patient for the beginning. When you see his bio, you should a good idea how much imagination you can use and mine will be a bit tame. There is never too much. Also, we are going by the S.P.E.C.I.A.L attribute system Fallout had and we will roll for characters. If you don't know either system then its very simple. First, to roll for a character you roll 4 6-sided dice take away the lowest number and add up the rest and that is one of your attributes. Second, the S.P.E.C.I.A.L system goes like this:
Strength-How hard you hit with melee or unarmed, you can break open things like doors and boxes, you can carry more weapons or heavier weapons.
Perception-Accuracy with guns, lockpicking, can detect when large groups of zombies will come, find more escape routes
Endurance- Amount of damage you can take, how long you can sprint for, weapon condition
Charisma-Bartering and Speech checking
Intelligence- How well you can use computers and medical supplies, can sometimes gain hints to puzzles in higher intelligence characters, give a bonus to EXP
Agility How fast you run, swing your weapon, and reload. Also, helps with sneaking
Luck- deals with Criticals and Loot
The leveling up will explained in the group after the RP starts.

Mental Illness=Ricky Bobby Disease- Thinks he's a paraplegic.
Appearance= Gragory has long flowing locks of red hair with mutton chops and a goatee. His eyes are blue but always covered by his purple shades. He has a large pot belly covered barely by a wife-beater. The rest of his wardrobe consists of jorts and cowboy boots. His wheelchair is tricked out with nitrous oxide and remote controlled wheels.
Bio= Ever since he was little he had grown up a normal member of society. Doctors would have to agree he was one of the healthiest boys there ever was. Until the day he was diagnosed with Ricky Bobby Disease. At age 24 he was walking through Vegas with his friends visiting from Florida. Out of nowhere a group of drunk street performers on unicycles came out of nowhere and ran him over. He spent months in the hospital. They tried to convince him that the surgery was successful, but he could not be swayed. He was sure that he would never walk again. The doctor's believed he had suffered enough brain damage to develop something they have only seen in movies and so they named it after the fictional character of the movie, Ricky Bobby. Since the first months of zombie outbreaks Gragory was very suspicious. He didn't believe that they were truly being contained. However, he was confined to the hospital. He was able to steal laughing gas from the hospital staff and learned how to use it on his wheelchair to escape from danger. When the military arrived he also stole some weapons and ammo and keeps them with him on the 8th floor. He was ready for the zombies when The Riots happened.
Remember, having bio's that make sense is important, but if I like the character enough it doesn't matter that much.

Bio: Bornin Bognor, England, Arthur showed signs of his illness from an early age, but was dismissed as having multiple imaginary friends.Symptoms were manageable for a long while and he became a succesful businessman. Unfortunately, on a business trip to Vegas, he had a mental breakdown, sending him to hospital. Nurses were kind to him due to his "Charming accent" but most doctors thought he was a prick. He was schedualled for a lobotomy at the time of the outbreak.

He wears a red long sleeve shirt with his name writen on the tag and worn brown cargo shorts follwed by his dirty pair of old white sneakers.
Bio= McGrant was 6 when he was diagnosed with shcizophrenia, surprising to say his parents took it very well. He talks to Rob (his other voice which Quinn believes to be real) who takes the form of an orange cat, and would normally only spark witty & rude remarks; Rob was his most common halucination. When the outbreak started Quinn just thought it was another one of his hallucinations, but after consulting with Rob he soon realised 2 things:
1. Quinn was in really deep s**t
2. Rob is very annoying

Appearance= Bald on his head, but with a black beard that would make Hagrid cry, Rasputin stands at 6 " 7, quite taller then most of the other patients. His hands are slightly scarred from numerous burns, and he has several other burn marks on his left arm and knee. He is built quite like a giant, with a large stocky frame and a slight gut.
Bio= Born during the Cold War, he was trained as a boy to be a sleeper agent hiding in the US. He was going to be responsible for the second burning of the White House, but the war ended before he was activated. As such he had a strange urge in his late teens to join the army, and was made an infantryman. During his brief stint of duty, he served during the Soviet coup d'etat, and due to his programming going haywire, ended burning down part of a town. He was so traumatized by the event he was returned home, serving as an electrician for the past 20 years, until he was reactivated again a few weeks ago, and was put in the asylum when he suddenly began spouting communist propaganda.

Mental Illness=Dissociative Fugue (creates and identity for himself after forgetting his old one due to Amnesia)
Appearance= Short black hair, brown eyes, slight muscles, 6'0", a large scar across the forehead that he forgets ever getting and, if questioned about it, doesn't have.
Bio= If you ask him, he'll say he's a grad student from med school. However, what actually happened was that he lived a normal life before falling two stories out of an open window (possible attempt at homicide), causing severe damage to the brain, resulting in slight mental retardation and complete retrograde amnesia (inability to remember old memories, though muscle memory such as writing, native language, and how to open door are kept). In response, he created Alex Albertson, a genius who, at 19, has already graduated from medical school. In reality, he was quite smart, but, due to the brain damage, most of it is gone now. He can still do things more advanced than other cases like his, but doesn't have anywhere near as bright a future as he did before.

Virus - The virus is contracted through bites and scratches, and goes straight to the brain. This is supposedly why people with mental illnesses aren't affected by it. Not a lot else is known by the public.
Enemies- Normal Zombies- Mindless, no self-preservation, and very slow. 1 hit to the head kills them, 2 hits to the body kills them. Hitting the legs knocks them down. Anything else is a miss.
Special Zombies- These zombies have developed special mutations and will start out as mini bosses. They all have different weaknesses and powers. There will be a bestiary given during the RP.
Psychopaths- Because of the fact that only people with mental illnesses cannot be affected. There have been a lot of crazies let loose. They are very dangerous and considered boss level enemies with boss level loot and EXP which will be determined depending on the level.
