My friend is a huge SSB fan. She can kick pretty much anyone's ass as Sheik. It's ridiculous. Anyway, she got the Japanese Brawl, and I played it today. It was pretty great. I tried out some of the characters I've never played before, but I ended up going back to good ol' Yoshi.

So, since I haven't played enough of it to shape an opinion, I thought I'd just open up a discussion rather than just saying "The graphics are great and the music is dramatic". Has anyone else played it?

Oh, and I guess I could look this up, but instead I'll just ask; do Roy and Ike have anything to do with eachother?

Well, I've never played it, but for some reason, instead of using Link as usual, I might end up trying out Lucario.

Also, this is something that Microsoft and Sony could never do. Microsoft, because they have like 5 mascots as compared to 30, and Sony has like none.

Although I would like to play as a Big Daddy from BioShock. Or Gordon Freeman. Not Master Chief. Too Obvious.

I didn't bother importing the game, but I am looking forward to it. It might suck me in for a long time.

No, Roy and Ike have nothing to do each other. They're from completely different universes. The most likely reason they used Roy in SSBM is that he was the hero of the latest Fire Emblem released in Japan, as is Ike in this case. Marth's from the first game in the series.
