Well, at the end it says the narrator is one of the members of picnicface, so they must endorse it anyway. I'm not sure which came first, though.

I watched Idiocracy once and though it was terrible, but it was on again and I thought it was good...than again, and even better than the last time. A very interesting movie in my opinion, and to top it all off, hilarious.

And to answer the "Which Came First?" question, Powerthirst was first. The guy who made this new one was a member of Picnicface (the comedy group that created Powerthirst), he left, and apparently created this out of spite.
