At my old job, we couldn't take breaks. Ever. It was 8 straight hours of making sure the grounds looked nice and clean, without a moment's rest. At least that's what the apartment manager thought... >.>
I hid out under a stairwell, joined by two of my coworkers, for three hours, and nothing was missed. I also listened to my music a lot, which was mostly frowned upon. But hey, nobody complained.

As long as breaking the rules doesn't interfere with the proper course of action, I see no problem with it.

There was a sign posted in the school library that said "DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GAMING" now it's not.

How do they know if you're thinking about gaming?...they can't convict you of thought crime.

OT: If a shift goes by where I haven't done something that my asshole manager wouldn't approve of, I feel dirty all over.

I made it a point to preemptively violate my high school's dress code at least once a month. It was never against the rules when I did it, but it's funny how the things I did quickly got added to the restrictions in the dress code.
