This is one of those marvelous scenarios where you can honestly say "it was the 80's".

In this day and age though? Not so much...

But... I liked X-Men 3, it had Frazer as Beast, James Marsden got blown up in the opening scene, Vinnie Jones was an awesome Juggernaut and the soundtrack was fricking awesome:


That said, will Zynga actually get any profits from this, how big will their investment in the series have to be, and what profits can they actually make bar merchandising?

This is quite obviously becoming a TV Series about addicting people and then exploiting them!
It most likely becoming a social drama!

It is all pretty clear to me!

You all remember that Intermission that Bob did about incredibly stupid movie ideas? (you should, it wasn't that long ago [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/moviebob/10169-Scraping-the-Bottom]) Yeah, at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if those ideas actually did see the light of day.

Think of it this way people:

As long as Ratner is pissing about with Farmville, he's not ruining any other films or franchises. And, on the plus side, perhaps he'll further undermine Farmville and Zynga in the process.
