The best parts of Borderlands, Mirrors Edge and Team Fortress 2, blended by Splash Damage/Bethesda Game Studios.

I'm excited.

That being said, their pre-order market strategy is impressive.

Gamestops pre-order content is the DOOM package

Best Buy is offering the Fallout package

STEAM is bring the Spec Ops package

And Amazon is offering the Psycho package

Here's the link to all of the packages explained by Splash Damage

I love playing a Rouge/Thief so I'm opting for the Psycho Package for the extra silencers and pistol.

Any thoughts on the game? Which pre-order package will you be getting?

I think psycho looks pretty sweet. It doesn't really go with the light medic I had planned but whatever, i'll still go with it.

I now don't want to get the game, unless you can unlock this stuff in game as well. Because if I buy the damn thing, no matter what store I go too, I should receive all the content that had been developed at that point. This is even worse than same-day DLC that isn't free.

And did Bethesda publish it? Because they have an awful record publishing action games...

Sorry to kind of rain on the thread, but I thought it deserved mentioning.

Bethesda should lose their game licenses, just saying. THERE ARE TOO MANY BUGS IN THEIR GAMES.

I would get the Fallout one, I guess.

So basically:
buy game: get a large chunk of content unavoidably locked away.
pirate game: get everything.

As for me, I will be doing neither as I don't think a company this retarded deserves neither my money, my bandwith nor my attention.

In addition to that, they're acting too much like the Darkfail online guys, with their blabbering on about how revolutionary it will be and will completely change gaming etc... while it's basically a 100% generic shooter with "free running" of dubious quality added.
