I am a PC gamer, I probably always will be. It's been a very long time now since I've lost all will to complain about poor ports (yes, looking at you Crysis 2) and I now instead just sit by and hope the next game is better.
I've been playing Brink since its midnight release on Steam and I must say it plays very well for a brand new, multiplatform game. However, naught but a few nights later I find myself reading unfavorable reviews and complaints about this game, calling it a laggy, buggy mess. That's quite odd, I thought to myself, as I had not had ANY of the issues mentioned by most people complaining about the game. Upon further investigation, though, I was able to discover that these issues were almost all coming from within the Console community. Which leads me to this message that I must now give to the out-crying Console gaming community :
Suck it up. Welcome to a day in the life of a PC gamer. Yes, we expect you to pay $60 for mediocrity, and no you can not have it back. Yes, there will be a patch. No, we can not guarantee it will fix your specific issues. No, we do not have a specified release date for said patch, however our team is hard at work and is aware of your problem (not really). We thank you for your patience in this matter while we go ahead and pocket your money.
