Good for drinking games (especially Mario Kart. Rainbow Road gets me every goddamn time)and getting girls into the fun but otherwise not really; 360 or PS3're where it's at.

Heh, I love my wii, and I still play it a fair bit. In fact I'm going to buy GH5 for it soon, I think.

Cool ad, I don't know if it will work, but it's interesting.

Huh strange advertising Nintendo.

Anyway, it's good to see a mother trying to raise a child even if she's a burlesque dancer. Obviously targeted to busy mothers/woman. Makes me feel better =D, even if half of it is probably false.

Not sure if it'd exactly work though, just being open I guess. Obviously involving burlesque dancing in an ad isn't the best of options but it says 'Who the fuck cares what she does?'

Hang on a second. Doesn't this seem a bit hypocritical considering the whole Nintendo Doesn't Want DSi Associated With Porn [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.250265-Nintendo-Doesnt-Want-DSi-Associated-With-Porn#9261523] thing we had not too long ago?

It's not really our favourite console. Loads of people own one, but its like a board game, it slips your mind when someone asks you what you have
True, and you also wait a long time for an answer when you ask someone the last time they used it more often than not.

Seeing as this is about consoles the PC doesn't count I guess, but I'd say due to WOW and casual games it'd be the most popular (although least advertised/talked about). The Xbox 360 and PS3 are pretty close but I'd say the 360 is the bigger seller and the more popular simply because it is cheaper and has been out longer, advertisement and such are pretty equal between the two.

You're on the right track. Burlesque is far from porn, and not the same as strippers either, and I have a love for all three.

Strippers do flexi stuff and get naked to make you hot and take your money. Porn helps "get you there". Burlesque is about a show, hints and cues at what there is and what's possible. If I had the choice between a strip club (even in "all nude + drinks" Canada here) and a burlesque show, I'd choose the burlesque. Imagination is far more exciting.

The wii is very popular since i dont know one person who doesnt have one in their house (i live in the uk by the way) it is a great way of getting kids to do exercise so parents love them. And yes Burlesque is what people in the Victorian times thought was dirty and wrong.

Nintendo wii, because burlesque dancing matters?
I feel sorry for the kid in this situation.
Are you, sir, implying any kind of negative intonation on that very wonderful and amazing artistic dance, and the women who dance them?

No, because mum decided to buy a Wii instead of something less useless.
Ok jokejoke I meant the fact her mum is now internationally renowned as a burlesque dancer with confidence issues that she overcomes by making a little virtual man wiggle about.
What makes you deduce that she has confidence issues? Is it something about burlesque dancing that tells you that about a person or is it something more substantial?

Well my first clue was when she told us she has confidence issues outright in the video. Its noticing little details like that which makes me a world class detective.
