"Bro, man, dude" Do you say it?

Recently I realized that I start to say things ironically and then they legitimately join my lexicon.

While I have always said "dude" and "man" I recently realized that I say "word" and "bro" more and more often. At first it was just as a joke, but now I sincerely say these things.

So long story short, anyone else say "bro, man, or dude"?

Also are there any words you used to say for ironic purposes that you now say legitimately?

I say all three of those.

Can't think of any words said for ironic purposes that I now say legitimately though.

I stick to dude, mostly. I'll say man when I'm feeling more of my ethnic side coming out. But "bro" can piss right off.

I call people "man". Occasionally Dude. I have no problems with those. I always just talk like that. Of course, I'm more likely to call someone "mate" than either.

Bro, on the other hand, feels really forced and unnatural when I say it, so I don't.

I say "dude" and "man" but I'll use "word" and "bro" when I want to sound like an ass.

I usually don't address people as 'dude' but often times when telling a story if I don't know a male's name he will become 'dude' or 'buddy'. I used to say dude all the time... cuz it was normal slang back when.

It's been ingrained into my brain to address people as Ma'am or Sir.

Also I don't think ANYONE says 'bro' in a serious/regular tone anymore.

I don't say "Man", "Dude", or "Bro".
I don't want to sound like the half-wits who live in the same area as I.
Not saying all people who say those are half-wits, but definitely the ones where I live.

I say "dude" all the time.

However, I was part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles generation, so I think it should be allowed.

Also...just because it's using these words ;)

I use 'man' a great deal in sincerity, sometimes dude if i'm startled or agitated.

I've made fun of Engrish so much that sometimes I find myself slipping into it, unintentionally. Damn Mongorians!

"So many things wrong with that sentence...first off, don't call me bro."

I use "bro" ironically, in such sentences as "Come at me, bro," but never in a serious context.

I use "mate", "lad," and "bud[dy]", though.

Man: Yes, lots.
Dude: Often, not as much as man.
Bro: Rare but sometimes.

Mate: Never, ever, ever. And I'm British.
