Broken COD WaW achievements

Yesterday i got cod 5 (or cod world at war if you want)and i was really enjoying it but as i completed each level i realised that i was supposed to get an achievement after but when i looked at my achievements i found out that i didn't have any of the level achievements apart from semper fi.
I have unlocked the "No safe place" achievement so not all are broken.

So just wondering if this has happened to any of you and if so how did you fix it?

only on recruit ( yes i know, i'm a noob) but it says any difficulty

Pretty much the only story based acheivements are gained on veteran difficulty.

yes but the achievement says i hae to complete the level on ANY difficulty

You should get an achievement for each level on any difficulty, but i may be wrong, it may be on medium and above

No shame in recruit diff man doesnt make you a noob, sometimes its used to get used to a new control system before really challenging yourself

I believe the achievements you are talking about are the ones you get when you finish a stage of a campaign e.g "stormed peleliu" rather than a single level. If you could pinpoint which ones you fell you have earned that would be great I have the list on my screen at the mo but going through all 46 would be a pain.

This is wrong as on CoD5 I got up to the set the bunkers on fire mission on hardened and yet the only time I got achievements was replaying up to there on veteren and then its one per level.

I've been playing it through on Veteran and getting level completion bonuses.

That said, i'm also close to throwing my controller through the screen, wii style. Dying in 4 hits sucks.

Only one or two are classed as "any difficulty".

i have 665 gamerscore from CoD:WaW already but im stuck on some of the last missions on veteran
