Hi guys.
I've recently stumbled across a razzer copperhead mouse.

well i came across it broken though. the mouse scroll was broken ( see picture)

the broken part is made out of plastic. so natrully i glued it and that work untill i pressed it in to use the middle mouse button and it snapped of again.
Do you guys have any tips on how to resolve this issue ?

Contact the manufacturer and see if they make spare parts. Or if they will sell you a spare part that they 'don't make'.

Or buy some cable ties and practice plastic welding. But you will have to know exactly which plastic your mouse is made from, which may be why your glue didn't hold.

Better glue might be an option? Or epoxy, if you can do it without overdoing it.

you could try using bits from another mouse, might not work but worth a shot eh? I'm sure you have a spare mouse about, I know I have.

Once something like that gets snapped once, as you've seen, it's very likely to snap again.

Like fix-the-spade said, contact the manufacturer and see if you can get a completely new part for your mouse.

There should be a warranty for manufacturing problems shouldnt there? If im not wrong its a 1 to 1 exchange within 7 days of purchase

Gorilla Glue seems to be the best for me. You should try it.

Ok another solution if you jsut want a practical and easy one. Glue it back on and then macro any scroll wheel clicks to the additional mouse buttons

Have you actually asked someone?
Try emailing the Belgium distributor for them.

It's a different company I know but Plantronics don't 'do' spare parts for their headphones. They were still able to send me a new cable and mic boom when I emailed the UK distributor, aparently they 'found' them. I was charged but it was a lot less than £70 for new set of headphones.
Similarly Shimano don't 'do' any spare parts for their cycling components, but you can walk into a dealer, ask and they'll have the part for you in a week.

ok

this is where it should fit
[http://img515.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc03832fv8.jpg]

and this is the actual peg.... i couldnt get any better quality cos its so small....

so basicly the peg should be stuck on he wheel ... then it rests on that bug U and goes in this little whole which is the same shape as the peg and causes it to make that crack crack noise when u scroll... so the peg has to be stuck so wel on the wheel so that it has enough force to make that little whole turn.

edit: click for a bigger pic

Pin [http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=J_zZA7Emzew] it. Or replace it with a length of paperclip or something.

I've been looking and have to admit, not a clue.

I'm slightly put out that they class Europe as a country, even more so that 'Europe' has a German flag! They could at least have used the EU.

#Edit, been looking, the best I can do is JLT who are a Razer distributor, UK based but still may help you.
http://www.jltcomputers.co.uk

Quest control, Dutch.
http://www.questcontrol.net/

No idea if either can help you, couldn't find a Belgian distributor. Ask away, the worst they can do is say no.

This. I find pinning works on just about any broken part. Just make sure you drill out a hole that's not to large as to weaken the rod.
