Broken X-Box 360 Harddrive (HALP!)

Hey there Escapist, maybe someone here could help me?
Last night I discovered that the metal casing around the part that connects the hard drive to the console itself was bent. After trying to push it back into place, it just wouldn't go back. If you know what I'm talking about, maybe you could lend some advice?
Please don't go down the "Buy a PS3 path".
