Okay I have a strange problem. Lately when Ive turned my xbox on and then my TV, after about two minutes they both restart themselves. At first I thought that I would need a new xbox but when I turn the xbox on without putting the TV on its fine. I was just wondering If anyone else has had a similar problem? Do I need a replacement again or Is It just that my TV is on the blink.

What sort of plugs are your TV and Xbox connected to? are they both plugged straight into the mains or do they share an adaptor? only problem i can think is that their power supply can't handle it.

Are they connected to the same outlet? Have you tried turning them both on without being connected?

I think you have an outlet/circuit problem. You're drawing too much power through one outlet or something. Just try to plug them into different outlets. Or try unplugging some of the other crap in your house.

try just turning on the tv without the xbox?
if it is only both at the same time then i don't know, only thing i ever had was a power overload when xbox, tv, microwave, dishwasher and pc all function on the same poweroutlet

What about the TV and another console or DVD player or something? It seems like a power thing.

If you're having power issues, do yourself a favor and unplug your xbox

or you'll be seeing 3 red lites in no time.

Are you using a HDMI cable, because if you are then there can be problems with the compatibitly etc. My controller wont connect unless my TV is on for some reason, its just because HDMI is new and there still sorting out the problems

Not really...It's just a power problem, it looks like. That's not a hardware problem with the Xbox, which is what the Red Ring represents.
