Does any one know if Brutal Legend (or Psychonauts for that matter) has a sequel planned? Tim schaeffer doesn't seem too big on sequels.

There wasn't a setup for one at the end of the game the villain died and Eddie got himself a girl in Ophelia so there's no need for it.

I'm not sure. Did you try googling it? If there were to be a sequel to Brutal Legend I'd like it to be a completely different game in genre, characters and storyline, but set in the same universe. Could be more interesting.

I heard the original developers that didn't go through with Brütal Legend because they couldn't make a yearly sequel. Not sure which developer it was, and I'm lazy.
Most likely there won't be a sequel, but never underestimate the greediness of developers...

Well, I don't think so, you see the setting of the game was great but the game itself...was not what everyone expected. The strategy element kind of ruined the game.

Having said that I personally have mix feelings with this game, I bougth it almost on release and I didn't like it. Later on I sold it, but now I want to play it again, just for the mad locations it had.

I don't think that Brutal Legend sold well enough to demand a sequel. I liked it, but can't really see it doing better financially unless there's some gameplay change that will cause gamers to flock to it.

Psychonauts, on the other hand, is a fan favorite and if Schaffer will make a sequel to anything, it will probably be this.

While I would dearly love a psychonauts sequel I think part of its charm came from the graphics quality from when it was released. To make a second one with the same art style but with HD graphics I fear could take away from what made the original great.

As for Brutal Legend I hope schafer does a sequel to it, if only so he can take out that half-assed RTS gameplay that was just utterly terrible imo. It really would have worked much better as a hack and slash to be honest.
