Bub and Bob beat the Chief

For those of you who haven't heard of or don't keep up with gamespot.com, you may be interested to know they are in the process of holding an "All Time Greatest Hero" tournament, where GameSpot members predict the outcome of the tournament and then vote on "the greatest hero of all time". The results of the first round are in, and most could have been easily predicted: Snake beating Crash Bandicoot and Gordon Freeman beating Bomberman, for example. In an interesting turn of events, however, Master Chief, who was ranked #8 on UGO.com's Top 100 heroes, has been beat out of the first round by Bub and Bob, the heroes of Bubble Bobble and the Bust-a-Move games of 1988 and the late 90's, respectively.

EDIT: Too bad about it actually being 4chan's doing. I was rooting for Bub and Bob, but the proxy voting sort of kills the victory.
