I started this thread to ask you all on the escapist have you ever heard of him? he has to be one of the most varied guitarists of the last generation and is arguably the best guitarist alive. He is a very underground guitarist but gained some popularity with guitar hero and playing with guns N roses. He is an extremely good guitarist and has covered many different genres over the years such as: Heavy metal, techno, Avant-Garde and several that should be invented just for him.
It's quite a shame though because he isn't treated fairly or taken seriously for the way he dresses.

Which I see as a huge loss to everyone on his planet as he makes some of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard in my life, I mean nothing compares to what he plays.
And I checked the search bar.

Well he has got a KFC bucket on his head, which is a bit more to just an alternative style.

Nope, never heard of him. I've heard of this guy:

but I'm pretty sure your guy came first. And Kyo's just a prick with a bucket on his head anyway.

Yeah I know,he's a freak, but he's a god-like freak which should make up for it. It seems unfair that they just disregard how he plays just because of the mask and bucket.

have heard some of his music, it's not bad.

although i disagree with the "best guitarist in the world comment" from a technical stand point yes he is very impressive.

But compared to the melody of people like Clapton, in my opinion there's no comparison

why thank you for such an enlightening comment.
Have a cookie.
And it's a he, no plural.
I'm sorry if i don't share your undying love of wanting to have his children, but Buckethead is OK, and so is the guitarist, and that's all i have to say about that, at least i didn't say "i hate them, they fucking suck"

Perhaps. I've never particularly appreciated supposedly legendary guitarists though.

Am I the only one who finds "awesome" (God I f*cking hate that word) guitar solos dull?

I'm not really a heavy rock person (like at all) but they do nothing for me at all.

Does it hurt to type like that?
Kind of, seeing how I was in Honor's English in grade and high school, plus you have to have equally alternated capitals or it just plain looks silly. *badum-tsh*

Yeah but that's the thing, unlike most he doesn't spend half the time wanking off the fret board. He does that but tis only a fraction of his music.
