(When I mean long lasting I mean it will last a good while before I have to upgrade it)
I am thinking of getting into PC gaming however I'm on a budget I need to have windows student and windows 7 in it. I will primarily use it for games and school reasons it does not have to run games at a very high standard as long as I can run most current games at a good frame rate and have average Graphical output it will be fine. If anyone can recommend any builds or already built PC or laptops I would very much appreciate it my budget would maybe be £500 and upper would be £600.

You can build a pretty decent system with that kind of budget but do you a need a screen too?

Regardless, here is what I came up with, without a screen and OS. Pricing and availability may differ depending on the vendor, but the basic setup (CPU, Motherboard, Graphics Card) should be the same. If you need to shave off some money, get a 650ti instead. Also, can you salvage anything from your current system (optical drive, hard drive)? That will bring down the cost as well.

My monitor from what some of my PC friends say should be fine same with keyboard and mouse but is this a bad time to mention I live in the UK because the website is American. Also I have no idea if I can salvage anything from my old PC the parts inside are ok (excluding the USB ports)I may have messed up the wiring in my old PC

I only use pcpartpicker as a reference point. As I said pricing and availability may differ but the core components should be the same.
