Alright, so I'm in a bit of bind. My current computer's graphics card is dead and I need one for video editing purposes and gaming, of course. I'm planning on getting a new computer, specifically a desktop and I'd like to build it myself.

The problem is, I know next to nothing about the current parts market and I need your help. I'm looking to spend as little as possible, but the most bang for my buck.

Newegg links would be helpful.

Thanks a lot!

Take a look here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.105715] for some general ideas on parts. Knowing the resolution of your monitor, the games you most want to play, your preferred video editing suite, and your budget (even if it's vague) will allow us to give more specific advice.
