Hello. I'm for the most part a console gamer, and most PC games I purchase are either old classics or indie games. However, I've considered moving into the PC market, and a friend of mine suggested that I'd try building my own PC. Searching around, I've found some rough information, but what I haven't found is what price I can expect to pay. The game I'm really eyeing for the moment is Skyrim, and I'll probably wait until it's closer to release to get the best prices, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me this:
What price would I be looking at if I'm thinking of building a machine that can run Skyrim at console graphics or slithly better, and what price would I be looking at if I wanted to run Skyrim at superspeed with absolute top graphics? Obviously we don't know exactly until we get the specifications about the game, but I'm assuming it's about the same price as most other new releases. I'm also wondering how often new components tend to come out, and if you think the market will change considerably before September.
