Bulletstorm Demo Coming to PC, Eventually

Whoops, sorry guys, the title was misleading but not intentionally so - it was supposed to say "Bulletstorm Demo," and now does.

But thanks to everyone who, instead of politely pointing out the mistake, just assumed that I was intentionally jerking you around.

I never thought you did it intentionally, although I suppose I could've been more polite in pointing it out. Thanks for the fix.

Here's the thing about PC games. I don't have a top of the line rig. I put it together about a year ago. Therefore, before i buy any game, i want a demo to see if i get a good framerate. Bulletstorm looks fun. I want to play it. But i want to see how my PC handles it before i commit to a purchase.

If not a full playable demo, then put out a benchmarking tool. Capcom did that with Street Fighter 4 for the PC and it told me that it would play fine on my rig, so i bought it.

They really do know how to make the PC gamers upset by doing this crap. I mean PC gamers are the one group that need the demo more then the console gamers considering that we're not just judging on gameplay on the demo but also how well it runs on our set up. Console gamers only have to enjoy the gameplay and thats it. -_-

Yeah the days of benchmark demos have gone the wayside I guess it's cos if these thing have to run on a PS3/360 then most new-ish rigs can trump them. Sure not at max but likely good as/better with the all sorted background chaff most of us have running.

Bulletstorm comes out on February 22 - yes, that's tomorrow - for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

What the hell's the point in that?!?! The game comes out tomorrow (25th for me, i'm in england) and the demo comes out afterwards?

I'm glad I have a PS3 where things make sense...

HAH I saw this and immediately thought 'BURN' very nicely done there.

OT: Glad I have a 360 to be perfectly honest, I would be a PC gamer but all the installing and uninstalling, and then having to update every few years. I just dont have that kinda money to sustain that . I'm using a machine which I got when I was at college.....4 years ago and I havent changed it.

shame I have to wait, but as long as I get a demo to ensure it runs on my slightly outdated rig, I'm happy
