BulletStorm Limited Edition?

Ok i have been really confused on the BulletStorm LE/Epic edition (depending on console). I suppose this forum is mostly just if anyone understands it better than me.
1) Is it me or is the limited edition more of a preorder bonus in disguise?
2)One of the bonuses is the peacemaker carbine? as in the machine gun that is supposed to be the most basic gun and your main gun in the demo? I even remember one of the trailers saying it was your standard weapon.
Any ideas guys?



Also on a side note, can we start a petition to either get rid of the captchas or make it so it doesnt use gibberish? I had to Refresh this page 4 times to post this.

They seem exactly the same, apart from the fact that the 360 version has early access to the Gears of War 3 beta.

Maybe, maybe not. EB only has the limited/epic editions listed, and they're priced at the same amount that games normally retail at. I can't even find a normal edition of the game on any game websites, so maybe Limited and Epic are just bullshit names they've attached to the versions of the game.

It appears that's the case. I understand the marketing behind the choice, labeling everything with either "Epic" or "Limited" to increase interest, but it just seems shallow.

Although, it is Epic's strategy for everything...

It's like the limited editions of a lot of EA games nowadays. It's to encourage people to buy the game new and early in order to get early access to stuff.

Lol my question wasnt why, it was simply how a the main gun of a game is a special bonus?

It may be a different skin for the carbine.

As for the extra stuff it is my understanding that it will only be included in the first running of the game. later pressings won't have the extra stuff. So only for early adopters.

It's not particularly clear, but this is how I understand it works: if you preorder, you get the Epic edition / Limited edition, depending on platform. You don't see any other listings yet because there are none. However, after the game is released and preorders are no longer possible, the normal edition will become the option. Limited will probably see a price increase at that point.
