Ok first off, who else is looking forward to a hopefully kickass game? anyway i was wondering, will it have multiplayer? I kind of doubt it because of the way the game is designed around creative and funny kills, so multiplayer probably wouldnt work. What do you all think?

It actually will have multiplayer. Two modes have been confirmed so far, one of them is a Horde-style where you and 3 other people have to fight waves of enemies. The other sticks your team in isolated sections of the campaign mode, where you work to get as high a score as possible. Nothing on competitive multiplayer yet, but I wouldn't rule it out.

Coop would make sense but competitive multiplayer would probably not work because of the video games mechanics.

Sure it could work, you just couldn't (necessarily) do a standard deathmatch. I think something closer to Monday Night Combat would work, where its still primarily Players vs. NPCs, but you are in a contest to get the most points. You can interfere with each other, by shooting at your opponents, tossing mooks at them, kicking hazards near them, etc. Sure, you can't pick up and toss other players, but you can still be creative and work the abilities in there.

If i remember right one of those two modes is competitive, and you try to earn a higher score than the other players.

Not to derail, but is Monday Night Combat any good? I was considering buying it on Steam.
My vote is yes. My vote is very yes.

Lol considering the average intelligence of the people on XBL and PSN (you know who you are) it probably wouldnt work out too well, cuz of the annnoying pricks who do exploits in MW2 and scream about what they imagined they did to our mums last night. Thats why i hate online multiplayer with anyone i dont know already =P.

The cover art for Bulletstorm uses more colors than many current FPSes combined. That's enough to justify a demo download, at least. Nice to hear it also has co-op, its wiki page is oddly detail-free.
