So I was just looking over my collection recently when I stumbled across Bully: Scholarship Edition for the 360. That game was honestly one of the best gaming experiences I've had. It's definitely up there with Gears 2, Assassin's Creed, Oblivion, GTA IV and Baldur's Gate (PC) in terms of my favorite games of all time.

Which leads me to the question: did you like it and would you want to see a sequel? Michael Pachter said before the first one came out that he was betting that would be it and that the game would bomb. But with Bully selling more than 1.5 million copies as of March 2008, it can be viewed as something of a success.

I'm personally dying to make trouble in Bullworth Academy once again. You?

I admit, I loved Bully on the PS2, but I don't really see what the sequel would entail... But it was an amazing game, and if they found a decent story, I would buy it without a seconds thought.

Yes. But what are you gonna do send him to college. and push people around. Then you'd just have to re-name it D-bag who can't just enjoy being drunk. :D

Maybe not a direct sequel... How about a Bullworth at a different time after the incident in the original. Make it so it has expanded grounds, more non-linear control over the factions (Possibly add a faction or two), and a larger city to mess around with. I'm sure there are ways to make it work.
I think enough people at Rockstar know what to do without completely destroying it, so I'd be behind a sequel to the game.

Yes, I want more bullies... Wait, are you guys talking about some game, never mind.
Anyways whatever game it is that you're talking about, they need to add a Zombie Horde for you to fight your way through and then they could it a day.

Hehehehe. I don't think you necessarily need to send him to college. He still has three years of high school left, if I recall correctly. You could set it in a bigger, more expansive town or....

How about this: Jimmy graduates, gets married, has a kid and decides to send him to Bullworth as well to get a good kick in the ass and learn about self-preservation. The town of Bullworth could now be much bigger since it's 10 or 15 years later, the school could be more sprawling too, maybe with some characters carrying over into a sequel.

I think Rockstar could totally pull it off and I hope they do. I'll be Day 1-buying it.

I think the world has enough sequels already. I played the game a bit and while it was different it really didn't stand out at me as exceptional.

Bully is definately a great game and I enjoyed it a lot. I wouldnt mind a sequel if they made it focus on a new character and maybe a new school or a completely remodeled Bullworth to keep it from feeling too familiar.

I don't see a sequel that would have ol' Jimmy as the main character working. And as mentioned by Czarroger, the same game with a new character wouldn't deliver the way the original did.

Now, if they treated it the way the do GTA and put you in a new character's shoes in a new school with a completely different environment and personality (like the differences between Tommy, CJ, and Niko) I can see it working out.

It was a truly awesome game, but I think trying to do it again would be like the second interation of "Joe Millionaire". Anybody remember that mess?

I actually have an idea for a sequel, it would take place at a summer camp, no cars, so they wouldn't have to deal with the fact that you would be sixteen and up to carjacking age. It would be great, they could have archery and canoeing etc. to replace classes, and there would be tons of new pranks.

That would kind of ruin the drab 90s setting, wouldn't it?

I like your sequel idea a lot, actually. The summer-camp setting, with a nearby town or something of that nature, would be pretty awesome. As for my idea ruining the drab 1990s setting, I don't know where you live, but the 2000s are getting pretty drab as well. I'm sure Rockstar can preserve that feel.

I like both ideas. With college could join a frat (Animal House style), start a hydroponics lab, go to protests, and do all the other crazy stuff we all did in college.

But I also like the GTA style different decade idea. It could even be a different school, though a renovated Bullworth could be just as revitalizing.

Either way, I'd get a sequel. The first is still one of the best games on the wii.
