i could understand if it wasn't a handheld, but he could just have taken the ds with him and played on the way home from a good day of stealing.

also captain oblivious my ds lite lasted the entire 19 hour trip to china, but it died on the bus trip to the hotel.

Five bucks says he was playing Peggle.
You can get Peggle on DS?
[small] I'm getting one of them.[/small]
See what I mean?

And yes, Peggle DS is required equipment for all flights. At least it is in Susanland.
How long does a DS' battery last, while we're speaking of flight requirements? I need something for the flight to China next October.
Captain!
You're going to China?
Enjoy, even though the flight is a total *****.
17 hours of torture.

Also, the DS's battery will probably last a good 7-10 hours.
At least, mine does.
Even though I've dropped it.
Awesome, should have enough time to wear it out with Peggle then. And yes, you can have a present from China.

battery lasts about 4-6 hours.

EDIT: Damnit, ninjaed again.
Thanks anyway.
Also, remember you can grab the Charge-and-move packs, they use AA/AAA/rechargeable batteries, you just put them in the power-socket of the DS when it starts to go flat.

Well if you need something for a flight, then a DS would be perfect. Might I also recommend this? [http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=66417]

Woah holy crap I screwed up the quotes here...

Maybe the guy had ADD, saw the thing turned on, went to grab it and played and just sorta forgot that he was robbing a house. I'd lol to that, cause all my friends have ADD and something like this would happen to ATLEAST one of them.

I wonder if the guys at Nintendo have picked up on this? Because this is what's known as "advertising gold". People have been known to sell their souls for it.

First the police, and now the crooks are being distracted by video games?

What is it about video games that makes you want to stop whatever you're doing and......[small]oh look...Peggle...[/small]...

Am I the only one who completely ignored the content and was instantly drawn to "Soaking the shiitake"?

Life would be considerably less interesting without The News Room.
Still, gaming seems to be resensitizing criminals and law-enforcement. The world is slowly turning inside out..

"Put your hands up in the name of the law!"

"One sec, boss fight."

That's probably how this went down.

Maybe Nintendo is slowly taking over our minds so that we must stop whatever we are doing when we see a Nintendo product and play with it and then the mind control will become stronger and we'll all be their zombie minions...

Wow! That almost deserves a Darwin award.
Don't you have to die to get one of those?

OT- Well that just spiced up my day.

For the iPod on another case, I've always though of having a self-destruct device in them. If its stolen, then BOOM!

He probably felt tired breaking into the place, decided he had time to rest before the inhabitants of the house got home, so he just sat down and picked up the DS thinking he would only play for a few minutes. But goddamn the Professor Layten puzzles are hard, and he refused to leave until he solved it!
