So I put the game on today and my save file was gone, it was as if I started a new file, quite annoying indeed but it is also the first time I've put the game on since we were all given PSN+ and since that is the free game this month I am curious if there could possibly be a connection because it seems too much of a coincidence. Any one else had this problem or is it just me? Granted I only put it on to get the mugshot trophy for my Platinum so it didn't really affect me as I probably won't play the game again but I'm still curious and hopeful that it's only me this has happened to.

If this is the wrong place to post then apologies in advance (don't really expect much of a discussion anyway from it).

Seems rather strange though, the PSN deleting someting off your harddrive.

No one else could have access to it, it could just be the PS3 being odd as I suppose technology is odd that way, probably just coincidence as everything else is completely fine. At first I thought maybe I had done it but with so much progress I'd have been an idiot to. It's the second time I downloaded it and installed it (as I originally need the space for something else) so maybe it removed the save on it's own as it was there before I did.
