Ahaha, Busted, awesome memories. Two of my mates loved them to such a degree they formed a tribute band (neither could play an instrument or sing btw) called Dusted and filmed themselves, to several tracks, miming and playing air guitar. Thank you for reminding me :D

First one I found on youtube, but I like other songs on the album better than Wake Up and Last Train Home(like A Million Miles)

Odd, I'd always choose Kobrakai or We are Godzilla You are Japan, I always felt they were The lostprophets best songs.

I suppose they have a nostalgia factor, so I'll never hate them.

I always found that song weird because of two of the lines in the chorus:

"I messed my pants
When we flew over France"

I mean seriously, they were probably trying to be funny, but those are just STRANGE lyrics!

After watching the video you linked, I now go BLARGH

LostProphets is a band I started listening to agian
The CD had no gap between songs and they all linked together, which was awesome to me
I just recently started listening to them again too. They are pretty good. This is one of my favorite songs by them.

Lostprophets are amazing but why choose that song?

Any true Lostprophets fan immediatley chooses Last Train Home (Especially if you've seen them live)
I know this is cliche but in my opinion any song off of their first cd is infinitely better than Last Train Home.

What is this "Busted!" you speak of? Never heard of it.

Please link me a video or something so I can get an idea of what kind of music they play.
They don't deserve to be linked, they're shocking!

You have incredibly terrible taste in music. (imo)

My old band played a Mcfly song as a joke back in the day, and yes they are the same band.
(Or may as well be)

This thread has introduced me to this band. There's really nothing I dislike more than this style of music. Do the auto-tuned vocals seriously not bug people who like this stuff?

I (like others) thought this was a thread about getting busted by parents/the law etc...

I then thought it was someone trolling.

Now I'm scared it wasn't a joke...

So here's something better.

Been listening to these guys all day.

I remember them... And I am not a fan.

EDIT: That Charlie guy went on to form Angels and Airwaves Fightstar didn't he? Good for him. They were alright terrible.
Don't forget Matt Willis, he went on to have a moderate to poor solo career and ate kangaroo arse in an Australian jungle.

At least he didn't starve.

Haters gonna hate.

Busted are stupid but awesome. They were the logical end-point of the pop-punk cycle, where the final product was basically indistinguishable from a boy-band. Still, I have to say they made some damn catchy tunes: Year 3000, Losing You, What I Go To School For (my go-to karaoke song). Especially the last one, that song is pure epic.

In addition, people who actively go out of their way to 'hate' bands like Busted are sometimes as ridiculous as the object of their hatred anyways. Lighten up, Francis, it's just stupid pop fun, no harm done.

Oh yeah, and I saw a cover of What I Go To School for on youtube done by some American band that completely eviscerated the message of the original. Man, that hurt me more than it should have.
