This is sweet! the first one was already on my list of good games I never got around to playing, and I didn't even know a sequel was in the works.

IT'S ABOUT GODDAMN TIME.

I have no shame in saying I pirated a copy of the original two years ago (though I only got about half through before that hard drive died, and I haven't gotten around to playing it again...) because I refused to pay the absurd amounts they were requesting on ebay.

But I will buy this with the fury of a thousand suns. I do believe in supporting the industry, but once a game is only available on the aftermarket through ebay and such, paying the ridiculous markup doesn't help them at all.

My only regret is not finding the game back around its release, since the toy line is really nice. The only ones I've managed to find for a decent price are Alice & Cat (blue ver.) and the Jabberwocky, but I'd really like to get my hands on the Hatter and the White Rabbit (red coat ver.).

I loved the 1st game and I could difficulty be more excited for the sequel. I'm actually pretty surprised by the number of people who thought that Alice:Madness Returns was a brand new IP rather than a sequel.

Good to know that more people will get to play it!

Slight additions - some of the music from the original Alice still sticks with me, it's this creepy yet beautiful score that is both childish and spooky...

Anyway, when I was in high school, I saw the first Alice game in a gaming magazine in the library. I've always wanted to play it, but since it was only on the PC, I never got a chance. Very excited about this now. Very much indeed.

They cannot possibly make me want this game more. Unless they announce the original Alice title that comes free will be a HD version with bonus content or something. Then I'm pretty sure I will die from happiness. It's a great gesture to newcomers and old veterans and I cannot support it more.

The only game I'm actually looking forward to. I missed out on the first game and have so far held out on buying the original (for sometimes outrageous prices). But I like having the full story before I play the sequel, so this is awesome ^.^

I can't see why it wouldn't be an HD port, releasing it with the original graphics would seem silly.
