dont buy an alienware, they are rediculously overpriced to building your own.

If you're going to use 4890s in crossfire, you'll need to upgrade the motherboard and power supply. You should also go with a faster CPU so it won't hold the cards back. Sticking with AMD and that site, the ASUS 790fx board, Phenom X4 955 CPU, and Corsair 750W power supply will play nicely together and shouldn't be too abusive to your budget.

I really recommend against buying two high-end video cards now, though, because new series from both ATi and nVidia will be coming out in the next couple months.
