(Sorry for posting this in Off-topic, but the advice forum is slooow, and I don't have all week.)
So I finally grew tired of my old laptop not being able to play 720p subbed videos without the video occasionally lagging behind the audio.
Time for a new laptop.
I do not have a desktop computer, so this laptop will serve as my main and only pc.
Thing is, I'm not particularly tech savvy, so I figured I'd look here for help.
A couple of things to note:
- Portability is not a big priority
- I dislike chiclet keyboards
- I was thinking of buying something with an SSD for speed and picking up an external HDD for storage space.
- I'll mostly use it for browsing the web and watching movies/tv-series, but considering that my 360 is broken, I might start dawdling in pc gaming.
I'm looking for general advice, but specifics and follow-up questions are welcomed.
