The limit I have at the moment is at around £300 and probably can go a bit further than that price though. I'm probably going to use it to play games aswell and for school work so i'm wondering if I can get any advice on what laptop to get...? Thanks!

I'm thinking of maybe these two:

I haven't exactly looked very much yet but I like these two. I don't understand computer specs to be honest when it comes to gaming and other things i'm wondering how the specs of these two laptops measure up to gaming?

EDIT: Also, how does this measure up to gaming? http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/acer-aspire-5552-15-6-laptop-black-10945106-pdt.html

Yeah those aren't going to do any modern gaming. Not by a long shot.

This is the only laptop that I found that fits your needs and price range. This will only do LIGHT gaming, though.

I kinda expected it... :/ By light gaming, what sort of games could you give examples of?

Well check out this link:
http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-5470.23698.0.html

If you aren't going to play any demanding games(Crysis, Metro 2033), then that laptop will run plenty of modern games fine on the lowest settings, maybe medium-high settings for other low demanding games.

Also, the only time you should be playing games on a laptop is when you're in a place with an outlet, as gaming will absolutely murder your battery life. When you're away from an outlet, just use the thing for web browsing/school work.
