So, I am finally upgrading my 14inch LCD to something a little more friendly on the eyes and since my knowledge of Televisions is left somewhere in 2002 I need some advice on getting a new one. It was only be used for gaming so any TVs which are specifically good for that is really what I am looking for.

I am in the UK and looking to spend about £400.

I'd recommend going to a dealer and taking a look at some stuff for yourself. It's great to be able to look at a large selection of stuff side by side and get a good comparison.

I myself have a Samsung, and for the price there has certainly been no complaints.

NEC makes some of the best monitors in the world. Anything larger than 19" or higher resolution than 1440x900 starts to ask if your graphics card can keep up, if you're going to be playing games on fullscreen.

I've got a 37" Samsung that cost about £400, and so far I've had no problems. My Xbox games look great on it, but beyond that I cant tell you much about it. Everything is very clear and crisp looking, and the sound is pretty good too, and its got plenty of HDMI plugs, as well as lookinf pretty sexy and having cool touch sensetive buttons :)
