No, wait till winter this year for the PS4 to hit. Overnight the PS3 will half in value. Its so close you might as well wait.

PS4 can't play PS3 games though. So maybe it won't halve in value overnight.

Did that happen with the N64 when the gamecube was released (no I'm seriously asking because I don't know if it did or not)?

It didn't. What did happen was the N64 became a lot harder to get new. Which I'm thinking is what will happen this time too. I kind of doubt the PS3 will drop much more in price really, and the input here convinced me, so I ordered one today. Thanks folks.
