Just as a marketing pitch it sounds amazing it would work, "were going to get plastic bottles and fill them with water to sell", it's even more simple than kids that sell home made lemonade.

Evian is my fav. just say it backwards ... beautiful, isn't it?

I don't buy bottled water, simply 'cos I am already paying getting ripped off for water from my tap, I am not about to pay be ripped off by buying bottled water. It tastes exactly the same to me, it serves the same purpose as any other drink so I don't bother.

ITT: People who have never lived in a rural area.

Most bottled water is just from city municipal water supplies. If you have your own well, the stuff that comes out may be perfectly safe to drink, but wholly unenjoyable to do so.

This one time, during recess, I went to the shop with some friends. I figured I'd buy a bottle of water, since I was thirsty and it was healthier than the alternatives. However, instead of going to the grocery store to buy it, I bought it at the kiosk thats literally 10 paces away from the grocery store. That means I had to pay an extra $2 for it. Did my friends ever give me a hard time for that.

I love how while some people die at this very moment merely dreaming about water, while some other people are being picky about the water they drink...

Although, reading the posts here made me conclude that my house has the last functioning pieces plumbing on the planet. I mean what the fuck, white gunk? Seriously?

Its actually kind of funny really, in a sad sadistic sort of way, that bottled water allegedly can give cancer.

Although I could understand buying water chilled, mostly because to me, tap water at room temperature tastes absolutely god awful.

I don't care. Sometimes bottled water tastes better than straight tap. But that's the only reason I really care about.

Personally, I'd like to just get a sports bottle and fill that up with water. Seems just as easy to me.

I hate bottled water - partly because I hate plastic bottles, or plastic in general really. But mostly because I don't support the notion of drinking water being a branded & commercialised consumer product. It should be given out for free
