Buying too many games at once, is it worth it?

A few weeks ago I bought Prototype, I have only played through it a couple times, I am only like 2 hours in or less.

Today I have just bought Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 to keep myself very well entertained and L4D2 because my sweet girlfriend is interested in trying it out, and since she doesn't game I just had to get it to get her into my hobby.

However I still have not completed Condemened after buying it a few months back, and I bought it along with Condemend 2 which I didn't want to play until I finished Condemned 1, but since I got stuck at a certain part, I can't try that out either.

Not to mention that the one game that still occupies most of my gaming time is KOTOR 2.

This may seem bad for some people, seeing as how it might have been a waste of money since I have not even gotten enough fun and experience from each game.

Do you think getting several new games at once while not having enough time to fully play through each one is a bad idea ? Either way, share your stories and experiences.

If you have the money, go for it. If you don't... well that is up for you to decide.

No that's not too many, the thing i like about having 3 or 4 new games is if I have been playing at one too long and it gets boring I'll just crack open a fresh one, because at least with me I find i always go back to a game to finish it provided it's good.
