EA released the C&C Tiberian Sun (and it's expansion) for free.

It's around a 1.2 gb download though and it seems that the page isn't loading at the moment (possibly due to traffic or something).

I'd recommend it, it's not the best C&C game, but it's still quite fun.

I won't have access to this Computer for much longer, so downloading it seems almost pointless, but I have bookmarked this thread for when I have a decent computer.

Good find DekkaRax, good find.

Sweet! I have the game, but not the expansion. I'll probably download it sometime tomorrow.

I never got into Tiberian Sun when I played it YONKS ago, but I applaud EA for the idea. Sure mabey they'll loose a few pennies from not selling it anymore, but people who want it now get it for free.

This seems very much to be a company doing soemthing nice and not trying to wring every last drop of money possible out of their fanbase. Nice one EA!

"CABAL, define 'favourable outcome'"
"They all die"
"That'll do."

I less than three NOD.

Although playing this really brings up some of the basic RTS things I take for granted these days, things like Attack Move and keyboard scrolling. Oh you can scroll with the keyboard, but it requires repeated presses to do so which kind of defeats the point.

Still fun though.

I'm terrible at RTS games. I just am. I'll always revert to the only strategy I know for a given faction and stick with it even as my base is falling down around me.

But I am not one to turn down free entertainment. thanks for pointing this out, hero.
