Hey there everyone.

So I was watching C-Span just now ( Because I lost the remote), and the show got a caller.
They answered the phone and the call pretty much went like this:
"Hey man, I'm a bit worried about this country. As I know and most Americans know, this country has been on the decline for several years now. And what I, as a citizen, am worried about, is the rise of the new world order, mostly of The Illuminati. How is-"

"OK, were gonna cut you off there, next call please"

I found this amusing enough to wright a thread about.

So, my fellow Escapists, what is the most interesting thing that you have seen on a live TV show?

Gave me a good giggle.

That was great! "With all due respect..." as the prefix too! I wish that would happen more often in Westminster.

OT: I remember a live news report at an airport during the Icelandic volcano ash problem, and a Scottish man went randomly up to the camera and shouted "I hate Iceland!".

OP: I've noticed a disturbing amount of idiotic people concerning the Illuminati. I'd like to think that was a prank call you mentioned Mr. OP, but it concerns me nonetheless.

Oh, and on your topic, I had a slightly demented person talk to me about the New World Order and the illuminati and that.

To be honest, I think it's just arrogant people who like to feel like they know more than the average person.

It's not really arrogance so much as it is delusions. Otherwise sane people can even start to believe these things because they look at the chaos around them and refuse to believe that such horrible things can happen at anytime for no reason whatsoever.
