I don't think I've ever seen a shooter with a multiplayer as customisable as Perfect Dark.
You could choose the specific weapons, where they spawn, the personality types of the bots, the music that played in the level, slow mo under specific conditions, commands to give the bots in game, and a truckload more.
OK Nevermind, you know your stuff. The Timesplitters games are the only ones that came close.
Same here. Hopefully this will start a trend in the industry to admit that FPS multiplayer should never have strayed from the Golden Time of Perfect FPSes like Goldeneye, Timesplitters and Perfect Dark.Funny though, how slowly re-implementing these features is a huge selling point nowadays. Of course it definitely works on me. Bots in split screen will be bitchin' fun to play again.
Yes there is a map editor but it's only for the PC version.Rainboq said:My question: Is there a level editor similar to Forge Mode, because that's the only reason I'd ever buy a Halo title...
... Or a 360...
You Sir/Madam, are trying to start a flame war, Halo, as it is, is a first person shooter, as is Call of Duty, though they may exist in differnt universes and times, you seriously expect aspect of them and their subsiquent game mechanics to not overlap? It's called innovation, and it can't happen if ideas aren't adopted because "X did it first you n00b." If you love gaming like i do, don't hinder it by being a fanboy, just love gaming as a whole. Your statement has no discussion value, it is intended to meerly grief, please refrain from this in future.Cathal Sixsixosix said:*cough*blatantlycopyinghalo*cough*
You can sign another Xbox Live Gold account in to play along side your friends and keep your earnings with you, this however is not avalable for PS3 at the time, They are working on it with their team, it is unknown when or if it will be finished, but you can still have a guest play along side you, but unfortunately they do not keep their progress.Fortuan said:sounds like xbox, split-screen on PS3???
Offline multiplayer is customisable only, PC users can Rent their own servers and have unranked online multiplayer matches that are fully customisable.Jharry5 said:Online splitscreen?
Awesome. To be honest, I can't believe they've held out on it for so long.
I'm also liking the sound of having customisable setting for online matches. If only MW2 had had that option, think of all the frustration it could have saved...

i was hoping that they did figure it out for PS3, thats what i'll be playing it on. I've yet to see that on PS3.... i did have xbox and i know i've played with my neighbor countless times on halo 3 and reach.viper3 said:You can sign another Xbox Live Gold account in to play along side your friends and keep your earnings with you, this however is not avalable for PS3 at the time, They are working on it with their team, it is unknown when or if it will be finished, but you can still have a guest play along side you, but unfortunately they do not keep their progress.Fortuan said:sounds like xbox, split-screen on PS3???
Maybe, but the game will only benefit from it.Cathal Sixsixosix said:*cough*blatantlycopyinghalo*cough*
You know I would agree with you, I really would but the "in-game friends list" idea just makes it really hard. Maybe I have just played to much Halo: Reach and Halo 2.viper3 said:You Sir/Madam, are trying to start a flame war, Halo, as it is, is a first person shooter, as is Call of Duty, though they may exist in differnt universes and times, you seriously expect aspect of them and their subsiquent game mechanics to not overlap? I see what you did there, and as an avid Magic Player, i love it.fanklok said:
They're pretty useful.
I'm not too sure, i'd take it as a good sign that there might be the option, as there is a female in the story missions, she is voiced by Emmanuelle Chiriqui.Alyssacubi said:I'm honestly not sure on this game at the moment in time, but just curious, is it possible to have a female character now with all the character customization?
