I'm not entirely sure. The PS3 says that kills total more than the Earth's population, so I suppose we could try to match the numbers.

I think I remember the kills on the 360 a few days ago being 4 billion. I can't remember to be honest

I actually think that's pretty sad... and I hope something like this doesn't even happen IRL. If there was some real "global genocide" people wouldn't be so bold because there is no respawn in real life. As sad as it is to see a statistic like this, I'm sure it's not the first time this has happened (let's look at all the multiplayer kills from MW series and the Halo series too) This has probably happened already, although I think it's the speed which this article is referring... which is what I think makes it sad. If the world got their hands on some guns, limitless supplies of ammo and the words "go nuts", and this is what happens...

Oh no, I think the accuracy was good. It just took about 6 bullets per person.

I think it was a little more than that, somewhere in the region of 30 per person...which makes us look terrible XD

It still makes us look better then soldiers in real life. I think I remember reading some article on Cracked.com where they said that in Iraq only 1 out of every hundred thousand bullets landed on a human target.

Crazy Sauce, I assumed the ratio would be less irl, I had no idea. However, are we counting bullets that aren't targeted at a person? because surely that would make it seem worse in comparison with ones (in the game) that are constantly being aimed at people

Oh I just find the number entertaining, like the number of pounds of C4 used, or the weight in something else... It's fun facts, and it shows how utterly ridiculous it all is. My friend is a pro player, and he's only gotten 300 kills so far, so you can imagine how many people play

Yeah if it really happened i wouldnt be scary of 10 year olds screaming while running with a machine gun..... first because they have no aim, second a real weapon recoil is a *****, third they simply dont possess a threath, running across warzones like retards, and yelling "I TOTTALY KILELD THAT GUY, YOU ALL SUCK!!!!!!!1!!111111!!111!11"

OT: That's an unsurprising amount of kills. Still, 11 billion kills, it's a canny fucking whack of them. I'm sure it'll be similar to the other FPS games out now though.
