Calling all Canadians

I've noticed there are alot of threads about where everyone lives and I know that alot of people don't like giving their personal info out online however I'm guessing this forum is mostly American and I know theres more Canadians out there than me so don't be shy and post!

Since everythread needs a topic in order to work, How was your day?

Oh for god's sake, there's a thread somewhere that's like, "Where are you from?" It's what has made me NOT post a thread asking if there are any other Swiss people out there on the Escapist somewhere.

Anyways, I am Canadian as well. I live in Edmonton, where I was also born. I hate it and want to move to the fabled holy land of Vancouver.

unfortunately I'm not from canada, but i have always liked the country. I think if all countries were personified canada would be a sort of 30 something year old intelligent business woman, whereas Britain would be the OAP who shouts at kids and your parents tell you you've got to respect for no adequate reason. that's odd, Im from near there and all my friends here want to move out to Alberta to find work.

well I'm a proud Canadian living in Chilliwack, B.C. ( a bit east of Vancouver)

and my day is great so far. just learned of the new Futerama season, saw the new SW TOR trailer.

I graded from High school in `04
currently in an Adult school though, and I have about a week and a half left.

Nah, not an College or University, just a school for people to go to and pick up some extra classes or learn something new. Plus on top of that I am in a Goverment program to go to school and learn french and the best part, I get paid to go to school :3

But as I said, I have about a week and a half or more.

It rains all year long.
Burnaby is really windy, Maple Ridge is super humid, Langley smells like a steelworkers armpit, Abbotsford is full of old people, Richmond has the YVR crowd, Coquitlam is too busy, Mission is too far away from everyone and Chilliwack smells of manure on every buisness day unless it's a weekend.

And I wouldn't have it any other way
