So, me and my buddy are going to KaPow! Comic-Con. My friend is going as the Amazing Spider-Man, so I decided to go as Ben Reilly's Spider man:

And so far, Im kinda stuck xD

I found this mask

and had the idea of adding the red details to a blue morph suit(with the head tucked away). For the black details, I was thinking of using stencils and black clothing paint.

So can any pro's offer any advice?

I think something as simple as a fitted red shirt over the blue morph suit would do, then just use black clothing pain and stencils like you said for the spider and the web. For the fingers I'd use either red and black clothing paint or cut the morph suit off at the wrist (the bracelet thingys will hide it) wear a red glove under a ripped blue glove. (the same colour as your suit, obviously).
I'm not really a cosplay maker, but I am making my next one although it's easy peasy to make. I couldn't do anything complex.
