i can play smells like teen spirit(including (extremely easy) solo), jerk off by tool(including(extremely easy)solo), fade to black(not solo) welcome home(sanitarium) (intro, verse, beginning of first solo). peace sells(verse, chorus) symphony of destruction(verse, chorus), a few black sabbath songs(not the solos), as well as a few songs by slipknot and disturbed. i want some rock and metal songs that are fun to play, and that can help me finish the fragments of songs that i know. thanks

for some reason i could play the intro for that instantly(i have the tab book)
and of course i know alot more than just those, lol

In before Freebird.

Stairway to heaven perhaps. I don't know if it's fun to play (I play the bass...), but it's definitely nice to listen to, and I myself really like playing songs that sound good.
Immigrant song doesn't sound like it's too hard... I might be wrong though.

Why is there no AC/DC in your list? The songs are all pretty simple to learn, they're all WICKED FUN TO PLAY, and the solos will give you a pretty solid experience learning pentatonic scales.

Immigrant Song isn't very difficult to learn. The hardest part is getting the gallop-esque main riff down, which includes string skipping.

Also, check out Phil X to get some inspiration for some good rock songs to play. Most of it is classic rock, but seeing all of the vintage stuff will make you jizz yourself...

Morbid Angel is always great fun and it's great exercise. Try 'The Lion's Den' and 'Maze of Torment'. It'll really get your picking hand burning once the riffs kick in. Tremolo picking to da max.

Back in Black by AC/DC has some fun riffs in it. The Darkness have some good stuff too.

Learning to improvise is the ticket to super-happy-guitar-fun-time.

Learn some protest the hero, that'll put some hair on your chest.

Learning that song is an absolute bastard, but so worth it.

Try "Laid to Rest" by Lamb of God, it's good for getting your fingers stretched a little and for sharpening up your pinch harmonics.

It's pretty easy, but it's a good show-off song, as the intro to it spiders along the neck nicely.

Edit: If you can, get hold of a looping station, nothing is as fun as impro-soloing over your own backing... I lose myself for hours.

That bridge? Easy?

Maybe if your fingers are made of elastic...

Bridge starts at 3:04, it's the second bar I'm talking about.
If you think it's easy, then you're doing it wrong.

Edit: Also, is your avatar from Claymore?

Ah, bar the bridge, fair enough, but then - that's the bit that's really good for your fingers.

Also, yes, and you gain a lot of respect from me for recognising it.
