[HEADING=1]CALUMON TIME[/HEADING]

Jack: No, This is not Calumon's 1000th Thought. That comes at 5:00pm British Time. Until then... Here's Calumon.

Calumon: Hiya everyone! Jack's let me on the computer and I've been doing alot of things. Mainly Internet Comics.

I guess the Only way I can review them is by going through them indivigi...Indavedu... One at a time. So Here we go!

Ex-Kay-See-Dee is a Webcomic on, what they call the Interblag.

The Comic focuses on a bunch of stick figures doing lots of things that Jack calls funny, but I don't get most of it. Jack says that most of the Jokes involve extensive knowledge of the Internet, Science, and Human Relationship. I could've gone to Wiki and found out about that stuff, but Wikipedia is confusing and boring so I just went ahead and read all the comics.

Firstly, this Comic updates 3 times a week, which is cool. That means that there is new funny stuff coming out regularly, but it can be hit and miss. Also, if you don't understand the joke, it can get even worse. and that's when headaches start to kick in... : (

People say that Ex-Kay-See-Dee has lost it's way, but I like it. It can be funny, even if the joke is hard to spot. Also there is a little bonus joke if you hover over the comic, which is a nice touch.

I guess I can recommend reading this if you Get it. If not, consider other stuff, like maybe these guys below.

Penny Arcade is apparently the most popular Gaming Webcomic ever. I can see why.

The Comic features around two people mostly, Gabe and Tycho. They are angry people, and often Curse, so this isn't suitable for kids... at all. I'm not even sure if I was meant to be reading this. To understand it, you have to have play video games, and keep up to date on news, but you probably do since your on this site.

The Comic updates 3 times a week, and gives off really nice looking comics, even if they aren't that long, quality of quantity, and most of the time they can find funny things out of unfunny stuff, like that Infinity Ward Thing which they summed up really, really fast.

I can really recommend this. They're really funny, and super imaginative. It's amazing.

VG cats is another video game comic but this one has cats playing it instead of People, so that's pretty cool, cos cats are cool. Right?

VG Cats is even worse than Penny Arcade on Child friendly-ness. The creator must really hate his audience to do all that. Like really... scary stuff.

The webcomic updates... sometimes. Really, I like some of the jokes and the art is really cool, but the amount of times this updates is awful. Like Once a month if your lucky. I don't wanna talk about this comic much because some of his topics he treats like a joke but they are incredibly mean.

Read it if you can withstand the occasional bad tasted humour.

Brawl in the Family is a webcomic on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's kinda weird to see a webcomic on one particular game, but they do occasionally go out and do things related to Nintendo.

Of course, being based on Nintendo means that it's good for kids! Really! It is! There is no swearing or bad tasted humour! This is all really funny and good for kids to read too! Really!

The Comics are updated 2-3 times a week, and the art is super awesome. Occasionally they colour it in but it is so good it's unbelievable.

Put it in your bookmarks now! It's my favouritest one out of all of 'em!

Jack's Note: Sure Calumon could've gone into more detail, but then again, going into detail about a webcomic is like going into detail for Quantum Physics. Pointless.

Calumon is adorable. You should let him out more. I'd be interested to have him review a big movie or game

Surprised(and a little relieved) you didnt mention CAD?
And what about the Sunday Funnies/Critical Miss?
Well Sunday Funnies and Critical Miss have only just launched. Then again, looking at Stolen Pixels could have been okay.

Hope you don't mind but I went on your profile to get some understanding on this whole Calumon thing and I couldn't help notice 20 miles from Birmingham.

Its just I live near Birmingham in Balsall Common, so where are you from exactly?
Of course I don't mind, that's why I put it on my Details.

Calumon: We don't wanna give an exact address, otherwise people will send Coconuts to us in the post... again...

Jack: What I can say is that we live in a small Village, about 2.5 miles from the biggest Oil Depot in the UK. If you have enough time on your hands then work it out.

That was pretty good and entertaining. I'm a bit surprised to not see Cyanide and Happiness up there though.

To Calumon: Ahh well. Coconuts are a ***** to package and post!

To Jack: In Stafford-shire?? Or in Stoke on Trent?? Or near Buncefield??

A combination of Google and wiki really aren't helping!
Ah, my mistake I'm 1.4 Miles away from there, Silly Bing Maps. I'll stick to Google.

Calumon: 1.4 from UK's biggest Oil De-pot? Thats a silly name.

Nice review, love it. The XKCD ones are my favourite, so damn clever. And none of my friends get the jokes :)

Which Direction is it?( N,E,S,W)
Yeah... I'm just gonna stop right there. This is getting a little creepy.

Calumon, please stop being so adorable. I can only take so much cuteness in a post before I overload my douchebag meanie systems. But anyways, nice reviews. The only thing that I would like is to see you read Questionable Content; it does have some adult situations and language, so make sure you ask Jack first, but its really funny and random.

Great review Calumon, I'm glad you didn't review the devil's spawn that is CAD.

You also touched on something thats always irritated me, VGCats.
They promise to update once a week, but once a month seems too much to ask. The fanbase is just going to die at that rate. Rage-worthy. Although the comics aren't that funny so I don't really care too much.

Penny Arcade is a good consistant web comic, although when it does its multiple story comics I think they tend to be a bit boring.

Anyway, it was a fun review to read, and I look forward to reading your 1000th thought.

Don't think I've ever read a Review by Calumon, was certainly interesting.

Good call on the humour going over some people's heads in XKCD at times (Heads like mine).

All in all, good Review, and good luck with Calumon's 1,000th thought.

Interesting choices, and good thoughts on them. I really like how you and Calumon interact with each other. But if you don't mind, may I make some recommendations? Here's some you two might like:

Irregular Webcomic (lots of puns and complicated physics-based humor, still pretty good, though.)
Darths and Droids (it's basically the first 3 Star Wars films... as portrayed as a tabletop RPG. It's way better than itn sounds.)
Zortic (This one went though a revamp a while back. I still prefer the orginal version, as it's more humorous and full of pop-culture references.)
Melonpool (Another scifi comic with plenty of pop-culture homages)
Zap! (Yet another sci-fi comic, don't be put of by the simple art at the beginning, the story really draws you in.)
Dandy and Company (The adventures of a boy and his dog... and the strange situations they keep getting in to.)
The 10 Doctors (Like Doctor Who? This webcomic mixes together a wide variety of characters thoughout the series run, and makes it work .
Order of the Stick (a comic with stick figures... and a really good story)
The Adventures of Doctor McNinja (Pure awesomeness concentrated... 'nuff said.)
Digger (Beautiful story, art, basically everything about it is excellent.)

Well, I don't really like Xkcd, and I haven't like Penny arcade in a long while, but the other two are pretty cool! I saw Vg cats before, but now I'm given good reason to go read em properly. Thanks calumon! :D
