I don't understand how eating honey is oppressing the bees. I eat food that burger jockeys make and I don't find that oppressing to them.
Dairy products don't kill or (usually) even harm the animal being milked, but they're still animal products, and a vegan diet can't include them, similar to honey.
And while no, gathering honey dosen't
generally kill the bees (there are a certain number that do get caught in and thankfully filtered out of the stuff during processing,) shaving down the comb does essentiall destroy both the bee's home (artifical though it is) and robs it of it's stored food supply.

Bees don't get their gut split open and Cooked. Although i hardly give a shit about what the damn fish thinks. If it doesn't like something then it can get on top of the food chain and stop me from killing it.
Would you feel the same way if your (vegetarian) neighbors broke into your house, stole all your food and ate some, fermented others and sold the rest to other people and then said "Well we didn't hurt the guy, so it's not like it's cannibalism."
